Our relationship with family is a difficult one. We were disowned at 17, and have had limited contact with our siblings since. We have since reconnected with our mother, but have absolutely no contact with our father. We currently support ourselves financially, and have no desire to reconnect with our family any further than we already have.

Since that day we were disowned, we continue to live only because of those we consider friends. Thank you for being there.
